Maca Power Smoothie

I have a problem...I'm addicted to buying and trying new supplements...I love researching new things that others have had success with & give them a shot myself. The two most recent I've gotten are gelatinized maca powder & gelatin. Maca is really good for stamina, balancing hormones (what woman doesn't need this) & has a delicious butterscotch taste. Gelatin is great for strengthening hair, nails & teeth, good for joint health & mixes well into smoothies.  Those are just a few of the things I really like about each one-tons of other fantastic properties!  So without further ado, I present my most recent smoothie concoction:

Maca Power Smoothie 


1 cup almond milk-more or less to desired consistency
1/2 cup frozen blueberries 
1/4 frozen banana 
Handful of spinach 
1 tsp maca powder (I use Terrasoul geletanized Maca Powder
1 tsp cinnamon 

Place all ingredients in a blender (I use my magic bullet)  & blend until smooth! I like to add the powders last so they get really well blended. Sometimes I add in some gluten free oats as well! 

Great pre or post workout smoothie!
